Saskatoon’s newest playground has a super cute forest theme – if you don’t live near Brighton, it’s worth a drive! The climbing structures will encourage imaginative play – they include two bears, a cave (kids can also go inside), a giant log tunnel, trees, tree stumps, stones, and a leaning tree trunk. There are two swings (one regular, one baby), a rope climber, and a spinner. This playground has a small slide and a larger curly slide, which will work well if you have both older and younger kids. There are also several areas that have musical instruments built into the equipment.
While there are a couple of benches, there are in an odd spot – there’s a big panel of musical instruments right in front of them, blocking the view of the playground. So if you want to actually be able to see your kids, you’ll probably end up on the grass. Or you could climb up on top of the log tunnel, I won’t judge.
The community surrounding the park is still under development, so you should expect some construction noise. If you have kids who like to watch construction equipment, this could be a bonus!
